It is with deep sorrow that I have to inform you of the passing away on 27 January of our dear President Farouq Mawlawi after a long illness.  I attended the funeral together with a number of AFICS colleagues and extended our sincere condolences to his widow Najwa, his three daughters and the whole family on behalf of our Association.
May his soul rest in peace.
